Authentic. Engaging. Inspiring.
I am always humbled when asked to speak before a group of people. I feel that the most precious gift that an audience can give is their time, and it is important to me to make every minute worth their while. From personal stories to practical applications, I make sure that every person in the room feels connected to the topic being discussed. Whether speaking on the perils of parenting, best practices for leadership, how to create an international business or alleviating poverty in underserved countries, I ensure that no one walks out of the room without feeling that our conversation was time well spent.
I have served in speaking engagements as small as local women’s groups and as large as college auditoriums. I have participated in Kansas City’s “1 Million Cups” question-and-answer panels and served as the keynote speaker for a variety of events throughout the Kansas City area. I am as comfortable talking to a room of high school students as I am to seniors in a long-term care center. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and grow.
Below is a clip from one of my more recent speaking engagements, where I served as the keynote speaker for Rockhurst University’s Health Sciences Alumni weekend festivities.
